Q: What is WeGoWeGo Mobile?

A: WeGoWeGo Mobile, powered by Broadplay Mobile, is the modern way to stay connected and request or receive alerts and special announcements to your cell phone from WeGoWeGo Mobile anytime/anywhere by text message.

Q: How does the service it work?

A: WeGoWeGo Mobile uses the short-code 123411 to make it easy for you to obtain relevant information on your cell phone on request. Try text messaging WEGOWEGO to 123411 to witness the power of WeGoWeGo Mobile in action. WeGoWeGo Mobile alerts and special announcements are also available to be sent to your cell phone if you have opted in to receive them.

Q: What is the WeGoWeGo Mobile sign-up process?

A: In 2 easy steps, you can subscribe to WeGoWeGo Mobile.

Step 1: Enter your contact information, select your mobile carrier and then submit your sign-up info.
Step 2: Confirm your subscription from your cell phone so you’re opted in to receive WeGoWeGo Mobile text messages.

Q: What carriers/phones does this service work with?

A: WeGoWeGo Mobile works with all Canadian wireless carriers and on 99% of all cell phones. If your carrier is not supported, please let us know. Currently, we support the following carriers:

Q: How much does it cost?

A: Use of the WeGoWeGo Mobile service itself is FREE so we do not charge any service fee for your messages. All WeGoWeGo Mobile service information that is delivered TO your cell phone will be subject to standard rated carrier message delivery fees (that's what "standard rates apply" means). All requests for information to the WeGoWeGo Mobile service or replies for Alerts FROM your cell phone will be subject to standard rated carrier message delivery fees. Also, if you have a text message package with your carrier that offers an unlimited bundle of messages, these standard rated fees will not apply.

Q: How can I get help for how to use WeGoWeGo Mobile's text message features?

A: At any time, just send 'HELP' to 123411 to get some basic information on how you can use Broadplay Inc. text messaging. If you require additional assistance, you can always email questions to info@123411.ca.

Q: How can I stop text messages from being sent to my phone?

A: You will only receive text messages you have opted into. If you wish to stop WeGoWeGo Mobile text messages you can do so in one of 2 ways:

i) Send a text message to the WeGoWeGo Mobile short code (123411) with the following keyword: WEGOWEGO and any of the following reply messages: "STOP," "CANCEL," "UNSUBSCRIBE," "QUIT," "STOP ALL," or "END." Once received, you will be opted out immediately.

OR

i) Send a text message to the WeGoWeGo Mobile short code (123411) with the following keyword WEGOWEGO.
ii) When you receive the WeGoWeGo Mobile Main Menu text message back in response, scroll down the menu to locate the menu number located beside the word “Stop Alerts”.
iii) Enter this number in a reply text message to 123411. Once received, you will be opted out immediately.

Q: Will WeGoWeGo Mobile sell my information/phone number?

A: No. WeGoWeGo Mobile respects your privacy. We will never sell, trade or exchange your personal information! We encourage you to read our privacy policy for more information.

Q: Will WeGoWeGo Mobile be sending me paid advertising from other people, SPAM or otherwise?

A: No. WeGoWeGo Mobile operates with a strict NO-SPAM policy. You will receive text messages from WeGoWeGo Mobile only if you've specifically opted in for them.

Q: What is text messaging?

A: Text messaging is a popular cellular technology that allows people to communicate between each other by phone by sending short text messages. In Canada, most text messages are limited to 136 characters.

Q: What does SMS stand for?

A: SMS stands for “short message service” and is the same thing as text messaging. In Canada, most SMS messages are limited to 136 characters.

Q: What are short codes?

A: Short codes are 5 or 6 digit easily remembered phone numbers that allow cell phones to communicate and connect with text messaging systems or platforms to upload or download information. They are similar to domain names in that they are unique and can be used as a channel to connect customers or end-users to marketing companies or organizations.

Q: What is 123411?

A: 123411 is the WeGoWeGo Mobile short code. A short code is a five or six-digit number that's connected to an online service (basically like a phone number for text messaging). Every message you send to us should go to 123411, and every message you receive will be from 123411.

Q: How long does it take WeGoWeGo Mobile information to be delivered to my cell phone?

A: Text message delivery usually takes between 5-30 seconds after the request is sent to the carrier network. Sometimes, this can take upward of 1-hour if there is an excessive amount of text messaging traffic on the wireless carrier networks.

Q: I am having trouble receiving a text message from WeGoWeGo Mobile…what can I do?

A: Be sure to check that:

• Your phone has mobile service.
• Your inbox is not full.
• You selected the correct mobile carrier at signup and that WeGoWeGo Mobile supports your mobile carrier (check the list of supported carriers).
• Your mobile plan supports the use of short codes (123411). Most standard plans, except for some prepaid plans support short codes; however, if you are using a company-provided mobile phone it is possible that this feature has been blocked.
• Try a test text message (send WEGOWEGO to 123411 to see if you get a text message response).

If none of the above help you resolve the issue, please let us know and contact your mobile phone provider to confirm that you should be able to receive communications via text message short code.

Q: I've received text messages from WeGoWeGo Mobile before, but now they have stopped. Why?

A: If you have recently carried over your phone number from one carrier to another, or if you have activated a new device with your existing carrier, it is possible that your WeGoWeGo Mobile account was disrupted. Otherwise, if you have been getting messages from WeGoWeGo Mobile but they've suddenly stopped, this is likely an issue with your mobile provider. Please contact your carrier and inform them that you are no longer able to receive messages from 123411: WeGoWeGo Mobile’s short code.

Q: What if I receive an error message from WeGoWeGo Mobile by text message?

A: If WeGoWeGo Mobile can't understand your message, you will receive the message "Check the Reply Message sent. Reply MENU for a list of options.” Please check your phone settings to make sure you do not have an auto signature enabled on your text messages. If you do, please disable it and try again. Otherwise, please double-check your message to us and then eMail us at info@123411.ca for more information.
